Copy twice.
Hand over with clarity.

A visible finish line.

Copy, check A, check B, recheck the source. A completed job means both copies match the recorded source bytes. Partial and cancelled jobs stay clearly incomplete.

A record that travels with the files.

Each destination gets the files, a portable JSON manifest, an HTML report and a CSV checksum list. Reopen a completed CopyQuay folder to check for changed, missing or unexpected files.

A check your recipient can use.

The free browser verifier reads the manifest and delivered Files folder on the recipient’s device. File contents never need to leave that device. It is a content comparison against a saved record, not an authenticity certificate.

CopyQuay · SHA-256

Check delivered files. Locally.

Choose Manifest.json from a completed CopyQuay folder, then choose its Files subfolder. Your browser reads and hashes the selected files on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

Browser checks compare files only. Empty folders cannot be checked by this browser.

This unsigned manifest can be edited. A match checks content against its recorded values; it does not prove the identity of the sender or the physical health of a disk.

Know what a checksum can tell you.

A match means the bytes read now match the recorded bytes. Operating-system and hardware caches can hide physical problems. Keep independent backups, inspect your media, and make your own decision before erasing anything.

CopyQuay focuses on ordinary files and folder handoffs. It does not provide recovery, destructive sync, resource-fork or permission cloning, cloud storage, camera SDKs or ASC MHL.

Copies regular file data and empty folders, up to 50,000 files and folders per job. Symbolic links, Finder aliases, special files and ambiguous Unicode/case names are rejected. .DS_Store files are ignored and counted. Manifest size is limited to 64 MiB. Download cloud-only files before copying. This is not a full filesystem clone, recovery tool, sync service, cloud backup or professional DIT suite. Resource forks, extended attributes, permissions, camera-specific SDK handling and ASC MHL are not provided. Existing files are never replaced; partial output is retained. Checksums compare the bytes returned by the operating system with an unsigned saved record. They do not prove authenticity, physical-disk durability or future reliability. No hardware-laboratory certification is claimed. CopyQuay never erases or ejects source media.
